Xiaomi has just announced the Redmi 12 and it is already available in the Thai market, but it will also be released in the European market . It is a new budget phone from the company that is mainly aimed at users who do not want last generation specs.
The Redmi 12 has a large 6.7-inch screen, it is a Full HD+ resolution LCD that even supports a 90Hz refresh rate. On the front of the screen you will find a standard 8MP selfie camera, while on the back the central lens rises to 50MP, while there are two more sensors at 8MP and 2MP for ultrawide and macro shots respectively.
The device has MediaTek’s Helio G88 inside and you can get it in two different versions with 4 or 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of storage, which can be expanded as the phone can accept a microSD card.
The Xiaomi Redmi 12 comes with MIUI 14 installed which is of course based on Android 13, and it also has a 5,000mAh battery, which can charge with 18W. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side, while there is also availability for a headphone jack.
The Redmi 12 has IP53 certification and comes in three different colors Midnight Black, Sky Blue and Polar Silver and will cost 199 euros in Europe, without knowing when exactly it will be available in our parts.
