Finally, we will see more of what we care about on Facebook
It leaves the choice to the users
Facebook is making a very important change to the feed. Until now there was only the ability to hide posts from people you follow, but now Facebook will allow you to see more posts from friends, groups and pages you follow. The new option will allow the platform’s artificial intelligence systems to ” become smarter and more responsive .”
So when the user sees in his feed a post from a friend or even recommended posts, he will be able to choose from the three dots at the top to “see more” or “see less” of this content. Whatever it chooses, it will improve the AI rating system, ultimately improving the content it sees.

The feature is in beta for Reels as well. Additionally, Facebook is testing a new menu to edit the number of posts you see from friends, groups, and pages, as you can see in the image above.
With these changes, Facebook hopes to address the main complaint of users, which is that they see a lot of posts that do not interest them. And since even more ads are coming , it’s looking for a way to balance the user experience.
