Netflix is feverishly preparing the live-action series of the legendary manga/anime, One Piece and in this article you will find out everything we know so far. From the large cast, the first look at the iconic pirate ship to the credits from all the episodes.

Season 1 will cover the East Blue Arc of the manga. So, it is going to focus on Monkey D. Luffy, who will embark on a huge journey as a pirate. In all probability we will also see him eating the “devil fruit” that gave him his iconic ability that allows him to be the “rubber child”.
Inspired by his childhood hero, Shanks, with his head held high and a big dream, Luffy will begin his journey to become the “Pirate King” by discovering the secret treasure of the legendary pirate Gol D. Roger.

How many episodes will the series have?
Netflix has revealed that Season 1 will consist of ten episodes. Yes, we already know the titles: Episode 1: “Romance Dawn”, Episode 2: “An old friend of mine”, Episode 3: “Captain of 8,000 men”, Episode 4: “Cooks of the sea”, Episode 5: ” A frog in the well”, Episode 6: “Arms and sharks”, Episode 7: “Tangerine grove”, Episode 8: “The Maw of the Shark”, Episode 9: “The end and the beginning” and Episode 10: ” Grand Line”.
When will the series play on Netflix?
It’s not known yet, but it’s likely to come sometime in 2023. And that’s because the series wrapped filming in August 2022.
