The RPG “Wyrdsong” comes from former Bethesda and BioWare developers
It takes place in a fictional Portugal in the Middle Ages
Something Wicked Games is a new studio from former Bethesda Softworks , Obsidian Entertainment and BioWare developers , founded with $13.2 million in funding from NetEase Games . The company has now revealed its game called Wyrdsong .
It’s a AAA open-world RPG game, but it seems like it’s been years since its release, as we haven’t heard where or when it’s going to be available.
Some information about the game:
Wyrdsong is a fantasy RPG set in a fictional Portugal in the Middle Ages. Players will be challenged to question both their reality and the choices they make as Wyrdsong is set to expand, challenge and redefine aspects of RPG’s.
The studio is led by Jeff Gardiner , who is an industry veteran who spent over 15 years at Bethesda and worked on titles such as Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. He is joined by Charles Staples who has worked on games like The Outer Worlds and Fallout: New Vegas.
Our goal at Something Wicked Games is to use our independence and creative autonomy to evolve open-world RPG’s.
