Blizzard is preparing Diablo IV’s closed beta with endgame content

It will be available in the coming months

Blizzard has announced Diablo IV ‘s closed beta , which will focus on the game’s endgame content. As reported, this trial period will bring Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides and post-game content, so you can get a little taste.

At the moment we don’t know when it will come, but Blizzard says it will take place in the coming months. In fact, the developers said that the beta will only focus on the endgame, so as to avoid spoilers of the story, since the official release is still far away, but also to make sure that there is time to implement any changes to the endgame content, depending on the feedback he will get.

Additionally, the closed beta will include several endgame events, such as Helltide, a world event with powerful enemies that will drop Cinders, which can be used to open chests in Helltide, which are out in the world. As for the Nightmare Dungeons, as can be seen from their name, they will be some quite difficult dungeons with “special modifiers” as the company says.

Finally, some special zones and Fields of Hatred will also be available in the closed beta. As for who will be able to play the trial, Blizzard says it will select people who have played enough of Diablo 3 and Diablo 2: Resurrected, with the open beta coming to everyone sometime in early 2023.

Diablo IV will be released in 2023 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
