The new Skate game will be free for everyone!
It will be released on PC, consoles and mobile

The Full Circle development team talked about the upcoming Skate game and pointed out that the title will be released completely free ( free-to-play model) and will be supported with new content for many years.
This was announced by the studio in a new video it released titled “The Board Room”, with Full Circle giving some information about the game, as well as what players can expect when it becomes available.
Skate will be a free-to-play title for all gamers worldwide.
It is worth mentioning that Skate will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and mobile devices , with cross-play and cross-progression support for all. However, the development team hasn’t revealed when it will be released, but says it will happen as soon as it’s ready.
As with most free-to-play titles, skate will have microtransactions, but as the company says the game will in no way be “pay to win”. Full Circle general manager Dan McCulloch emphasized that no area on the map will be locked and won’t ask for money from the player, there won’t be loot boxes to pay for, and that Skate won’t be a “watered down” experience.
The game’s microtransactions will be centered around cosmetics and various other “conveniences”.
For the record, the new “Skate” was first announced by EA in June 2021, but we haven’t seen much about the game since then. The previous title in the successful series was released in 2010 and like its predecessors, was only available for consoles. Now, the new game will also come for the first time for computers.
