Gboard: A radical redesign is coming to the Google keyboard (PICTURES)

It’s already in beta

Google’s Gboard keyboard is used by hundreds of millions, if not billions of devices around the world. According to Android Police , however, Google is preparing a radical redesign of the application and in fact the change is already in the hands of beta testers.

The biggest, visually obvious change is the toolbar, which will finally allow its customization with more than four options, while the voice function can also be removed. Below you can see in the first image the current keyboard and in the second the redesigned one.

The features micro-menu has also been redesigned to make room for more features to come in the future, as you can see in the images below.

Additionally, many hidden features in the Advanced menu are now moved to a new tab more easily accessible to control privacy. If you want to try the new features yourself, the beta program is open to everyone via Google Play and the new version of the app is 12.6.06.491625702.
