Silent Hill: Ascension is something the franchise has never seen before (BINTEO)  

Konami describes it as an “interactive streaming series”.

Tonight’s Silent Hill Transmission showcase also featured an announcement of a new Silent Hill chapter, the likes of which the series has never seen before. 

” Silent Hill: Ascension” was revealed through a low-key teaser trailer that was described as an ” interactive streaming series where the entire Silent Hill community forms the canon story of Silent Hill .” And what you understand, you understand. This is the only information we know about this project which is being developed by Genvid, in collaboration with Bad Robot Games, Behavior Interactive (of Dead by Daylight) and DJ2 Entertainment. 

It is not clear if this is an interactive game that will be streamed as an episodic series, or if it is an interactive CGI series on a streaming service, along the lines of Netflix’s Black Mirror: Bandersnatch.

However, it seems to be a pioneering Silent Hill project whose story will change depending on the decisions of the audience – and yes, it reminds us of our own series, ” Puppetry “.
