The Last of Us: “Abby” would easily return for a new game despite all the “drama”
Laura Bailey in a new interview
Laura Bailey , who was Abby in The Last of Us Part II , has officially stated that she would return for a future game if given the chance. The actress seems that even though she had been through a lot when Naughty Dog released the title , she is “in” for the next one, if there is one of course.
Speaking to Comic Book Movie , Bailey said she would like to voice Abby, despite all the “drama” that has been going on.
Her statements were as follows:
I would definitely go back to her. I know there has been a lot of “drama” and talk surrounding the character of Abby, but it has been a role that has been very influential in my life. I would 100% go back to play Abby if given the chance.
Abby was one of the most controversial characters in The Last of Us Part II and many gamers didn’t particularly like her, with what had happened in the game. Bailey herself, in fact, had received various threats for this role and had spoken openly in an interview she had given in December 2020 to Game Informer.
The actress had stated the following at the time: I knew there was going to be some hate, but I didn’t expect it to get this big.
Bailey also commented on the HBO TV series The Last of Us and said she “looks amazing” and is excited.
