Everything we saw at the THQ Nordic Showcase (VIDEO)   

Lots of new games and surprises.

In addition to Alone in the Dark , which is returning after years of absence, THQ Nordic had other surprises and announcements through its own Showcase event. From the return of Spongebob Squarepants, to the remake of Gothic, the company has several titles coming in the future, for all tastes.

Tempest Rising

Tempest Rising is a real-time strategy game that has next-gen graphics and gameplay that focuses on RPG elements. In it you are called to fight on various planets in a war that lasts for years, between GDF and the Tempest royal dynasty.

Wreckcreation

Wreckreation is an arcade racer from the former developers of Burnout and Need for Speed. In fact, in this game you will be able to create your own tracks and compete with your friends online.

Space for Sale

In Space for Sale you will take control of a programmer who turns various planets into viable dream homes for would-be buyers. “Start your space adventure, turning barren planets into crazy neighborhoods,” says THQ Nordic.

Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed

This event also featured a brand new gameplay trailer from Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed, which is expected to be released very soon. For the record, Destroy All Humans 2 arrived in 2006 to great success, and the player took control of an Alien, Crypto, who killed any human in its path. The title takes place in the ’60s in a fictional city of San Francisco, Bay City, as well as other cities such as London, the Soviet Union and Tokyo.

Gothic Remake

THQ Nordic had another remake in its “pocket”, after it revealed that it is preparing the Gothic Remake, based of course on the original game from the ’00s.

Jagged Alliance 3

Jagged Alliance 3 is the new game in the series, where you take control of a group of mercenaries in an African war zone.

Outcast 2

Outcast 2 is back and we got a small taste of its story, but also a sneak peek of its gameplay mechanisms.

Knights of Honor 2

In this game you control hordes of armies from all over Europe and the gameplay trailer shows better what it’s all about.

Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake

Spongebob Squarepants comes with a new game, which is a 3D platformer that our little friends will surely enjoy. Of course, expect humor, fun and crazy adventures from the universe loved by young and old alike.
