Luigi’s Mansion 3: Swept in England the exclusivity of the Nintendo Switch
Luigi may not have been able to sit on the throne of the UK Charts , as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was the highest-selling game on the UK market for the week ending November 2. However, Nintendo’s title did well. In particular, Luigi’s Mansion 3 has surpassed The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Super Mario Maker 2 to become the fastest-selling Nintendo Switch game in 2019.
It is striking that a Luigi game passed a Mario and a Zelda, but Nintendo promoted the title quite a bit, in which it seems to have put its trust right. The retail sales of Luigi’s Mansion 3 are 140% higher than its predecessor released for the 3DS in March 2013. Of course, that record will certainly not hold for long, as the new Pokémon Sword and Shield are expected to release in the month.
The week had no noteworthy new releases, which means Call of Duty remained at the top, continuing its impressive run.
Here are the top UK retailer games for the week ending November 2.
