World of Warcraft: The rare gift from Blizzard that upset the fans of the game  

Many players had bought this “item” with regular money

If you’re a World of Warcraft player, you’ll soon be able to get your hands on one of the rarest mounts in the game, and it’s taken the community by storm. It’s the “ Feldrake ” mount, which you’ll be able to get absolutely free if you take some steps between November 28th and 30th through Blizzard’s new campaign.

Many players may have been happy with this announcement from the company, but others seem not to be thrilled at all. The reason; In order to obtain the Feldrake mount, one had to engage and play the now-cancelled World of Warcraft Trading Card Game and land a rare card that gave them access to the mount.

So many people were paying enough real money to buy cards and win that particular mount for WOW. In fact, these cards still work today and one can get them through eBay ads.

Blizzard ‘s WoW subreddit and forums have been on fire for the past few hours, with many criticizing the company’s decision to give this rare item to all players.  

Although the Feldrake is a simple “version” of the mounts released with Wrath of the Lich King, but in a different color, many claim that Blizzard is destroying its prestige, somehow insulting those who spent thousands of dollars to acquire it through the cards.
