Nintendo Switch sweeps in sales – Great numbers for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet too
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains on top
Nintendo has just revealed the sales of the Nintendo Switch and its games through a list it made public. According to the company’s financial results recorded until December 31, 2022, the Nintendo Switch has sold 122.55 million worldwide .
In fact, in the last three months (until December 31, 2022) it managed to sell 8.22 million consoles and 76.71 million games. You can learn more by clicking here and here .
It seems that Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are doing great, since in just a few months they are in the top ten with 20.61 million sales.
The 10 best-selling first-party Switch games :
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 52 million sold
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 41.59 million sold
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 30.44 million sales
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 29 million sold
- Pokemon Sword / Pokemon Shield – 25.68 million sold
- Super Mario Odyssey – 25.12 million sold
- Pokemon Scarlet / Pokemon Violet – 20.61 million sold
- Super Mario Party – 18.79 million sold
- Ring Fit Adventure – 15.22 million sold
- Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! – 15.07 million sales

- Mario Party Superstars – 9.38 million sold
- Nintendo Switch Sports – 8.61 million sold
- Kirby and the Forgotten Land – 6.12 million sold
- Mario Strikers: Battle League – 2.47 million sold
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – 1.81 million sold
- Bayonetta 3 – 1.04 million sales
It is worth mentioning that more than 994.30 million games have been sold worldwide.
