Nintendo Switch sweeps in sales – Great numbers for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet too  

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains on top

Nintendo has just revealed the sales of the Nintendo Switch and its games through a list it made public. According to the company’s financial results recorded until December 31, 2022, the Nintendo Switch has sold 122.55 million worldwide .

In fact, in the last three months (until December 31, 2022) it managed to sell 8.22 million consoles and 76.71 million games. You can learn more by clicking here and here .

It seems that Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are doing great, since in just a few months they are in the top ten with 20.61 million sales.

The 10 best-selling first-party Switch games :

  1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 52 million sold
  2. Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 41.59 million sold
  3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 30.44 million sales
  4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 29 million sold
  5. Pokemon Sword / Pokemon Shield – 25.68 million sold
  6. Super Mario Odyssey – 25.12 million sold
  7. Pokemon Scarlet / Pokemon Violet – 20.61 million sold
  8. Super Mario Party – 18.79 million sold
  9. Ring Fit Adventure – 15.22 million sold
  10. Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! – 15.07 million sales

Nintendo also shared sales from its other games:

  • New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe – 14.75 million sold
  • Pokemon Legends: Arceus – 14.63 million sold
  • Luigi’s Mansion 3 – 12.44 million sold
  • Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury – 10.82 million sold
  • Splatoon 3 – 10.13 million sold
  • Mario Party Superstars – 9.38 million sold
  • Nintendo Switch Sports – 8.61 million sold
  • Kirby and the Forgotten Land – 6.12 million sold
  • Mario Strikers: Battle League – 2.47 million sold
  • Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – 1.81 million sold
  • Bayonetta 3 – 1.04 million sales

It is worth mentioning that more than 994.30 million games have been sold worldwide.
