Xiaomi caught up with Tesla and presented its own humanoid robot (PICTURES+VIDEO)
Meet CyberOne
Tesla’s humanoid robot may be very close to its launch , but Xiaomi has come out of the blue with its own version of such a robot called CyberOne . During the presentation of its foldable phone, Mix Fold 2 , CyberOne, nicknamed “Metal Bro”, arrived on stage to give a flower to the company’s CEO, Lei Jun.
The robot is 1.77m tall and weighs 52kg. It walks autonomously and has an OLED screen for its face. It “sees” the world in its three dimensions and listens through two microphones, recognizing 85 types of environmental sounds and 45 human emotional states. It has 13 joints that respond within 0.5 milliseconds. Its upper body has a power of 30Nm and can handle delicate objects with 1Nm. The legs give it an instant power of 300Nm.
The price of the CyberOne starts at $89,000, and there are plans to further improve it in the future.
With its AI core and a full-sized humanoid frame, we will explore the potential of Xiaomi’s future technology ecosystem for new innovations for the company.
