Windows 11: Their new upgrade fills the screen with widgets
Microsoft continues testing
Microsoft continues to experiment and test with members of the Windows Insider program and so has just made available Build 25201, which brings an interesting addition .
In particular, the new test version of the operating system extends the functionality of the widgets panel , which by default currently appears when the user leaves his mouse in the lower left position of the taskbar. More specifically, Microsoft has prepared a new UI for these applets, which occupies the entire screen, somewhat reminiscent of the old Windows 8 Start.
This new display mode will be selectable with a simple icon on the top right side of the panel, which will allow maximizing, just like all regular windows in Windows.
At the same time, this update also improves the Game Pass widget, which now allows the user to connect to their profile to provide more personalized information.

It is worth noting that we still do not know if these features will catch up with the big 22H2 upgrade, which according to the latest data is expected to arrive on September 20.
In case you don’t know, this new version is expected to fix major operating system issues, for example bringing back File Drag ‘n’ Drop to taskbar programs. At the same time, many new features are in the works for Start, such as program folders and the ability to adjust the size of the pinned section.
At the same time, the Task Manager will be updated with a modernized design, OneDrive will be better integrated into File Explorer, new window snapping layouts will be added, a new feature to dynamically switch wallpapers daily, a new feature to automatically create subtitles and much more.
Finally, although not officially confirmed, the update is expected to finally bring tabs to File Explorer , fix the taskbar overflow issue , and possibly add a desktop search field.
