Mob Town: Biggest Mafia Gathering Comes to the Cinema (VIDEO)
An official trailer for the upcoming Mob Town- era thriller has been released, with Danny A. Abeckaser sitting in the director’s chair, with screenwriters Jon Carlo and Joe Gilford, while David Arquette, Robert Davi and PJ Byrne lead the cast.
The plot is set sometime in 1957 in Apalachin, New York, and concerns the meeting of the most notorious mafia bosses in the area. The gathering was led by Vito Genovese (Davi), who called fifty organized crime leaders across the country to discuss their future expansion plans. However, their plans are reversed when local police officer Ed Crolawell (Arquette) learns what they are destroying and launches a business that will shed light on what they are about to do. His effort is bringing radical changes to the rule of law and revealing to the public the corruption and illegality regime aimed at reinforcing the above-mentioned underworld factors.
The cast also includes Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Jennifer Esposito, Gino Cafarelli, Sasha Feldman, and Anthony DeSando.
