RTX 4090 can run Overwatch 2 at over 500 FPS  

New benchmarks from Nvidia

Overwatch 2 is one of the biggest releases of 2022, with its predecessor being an esports giant with millions of players. So, on the occasion of its release a few hours ago, Nvidia has given the spotlight some new benchmarks, showing how well the game can run on its graphics cards and in particular on the new RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 .

Going into details, according to the company’s official statistics, the RTX 4090 can offer up to 507 FPS in Overwatch 2 at 2560×1440 resolution and with Ultra settings. The jump from the 16GB RTX 4080 is huge, since this card is in second place on the chart with 368 FPS at the same resolution and with the same settings. In fact, a noticeable difference is also found between the two RTX 4080 models, since the 12GB version performs with 296FPS.

RTX 3080, RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 are also not missing from the charts, which will continue to be sold normally for some time, until special RTX 4000 models arrive for the middle category.

For the record, Overwatch 2 also supports Nvidia Reflex technology, which promises significantly reduced latency, for more immediate response, something extremely important for such a competitive game.
