TikTok: Gives an adult content option for creators  

New management tools

Sexual content on TikTok is already restricted from appearing in content recommendations, but now creators of that content will have more tools at their fingertips. They will be able to choose not to display their content to users under the age of 18 if they think it is only suitable for adults. However, we’re always talking about content that doesn’t violate TikTok’s rules.

To be clear. Our rules still fully apply to creators using this feature, and we will remove any content that includes nudity and other violations of the Community Guidelines.

On TikTok there is enough content that “implies nudity” and sexual intent, balancing on the boundaries of the rules. The company says it stopped more than a million TikToks that exceeded the limit from reaching teen users’ ForYou page in the past 30 days.
