Joker 2: Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn Finally Revealed Alongside Joaquin Phoenix (PICTURES)

The production of Joker 2 or Joker: Folie à Deux continues as usual in New York and new photos from the filming of the film have just been released. It seems that nothing escapes the lens and now we have a better look at Lady Gaga ‘s Harley Quinn , but also at Joaquin Phoenix ‘s Joker .
There is now no doubt that Gaga will be playing the Joker’s other half and it shows from how she is painted, from her clothes, but also from the images that show them having fun and dancing together.

The sequel to Joker is directed once again by Todd Phillips, who also gave us the first film of 2019. From everything that has been heard lately, Joker: Folie à Deux will be a musical, which seems logical, given Gaga’s talent and Joker’s preference for dancing.
Harley Quinn is the Joker’s lover and accomplice, who was originally a psychiatrist named Harleen Quinzel before falling in love with him and becoming his partner in crime – always in line with the comics as we don’t know if and how much the lore will change.
Based on what’s known so far, Joker: Folie à Deux will take place in Arkham Asylum and within Gotham, starring Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck/Joker and Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. Of course, the location is no accident, since in the comics as well, the Joker meets Harley Quinn in Arkham Asylum, when she undertakes to help him as a psychiatrist, but eventually falls in love with him.
Joker 2 will also star Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Zazie Beetz, Harry Lawtey and Jacob Lofland.
When will it be in theaters?
Joker: Folie à Deux is expected to play worldwide on October 4, 2024.
