Avatar 3: James Cameron reveals new information about the races we will see
New races but also…storytellers
As Avatar: The Way of the Water gallops toward $2 billion at the global box office, James Cameron is revving up his hype engine for the next movie, Avatar 3 .
The legendary director attended the Critics Choice Awards 2023 and revealed to Deadline some new details about Avatar: The Seed Bearer (as we learned from old leaks that it will be called). In addition to the fact that the element of fire will dominate , he said that we will meet two new races.
“Fire has a symbolic presence in the film and there is a tribe that represents that concept. Maybe now I’m revealing more than I should. You will meet two completely new tribes in the next film. We met the Omaticaya, the Metkayina and in the next film you will also meet two. We’re going to roam a little more freely in the world of Pandora and in different places, ” he said.

In another interview, Cameron mentioned that Avatar 3 will introduce us to a new narrator. So far we’ve had Sam Worthington’s Jake Sully narrate the events, and in the next film, his son named “Lo’ak ” by Britain Dalton will take over.

We know that plans for sequels include Avatar 3, 4 and 5, but James Cameron’s grand plan for the world of Pandora has ambitions to extend beyond Chapter 5. In a recent interview he had mentioned his plan for Avatar 6 and 7 .
At one point Avatar: The Way of Water was such a big movie that parts of it were cut to form Avatar 3, the film’s writers have revealed . Information has come to light about the outrageous length of the first cut of Avatar 3 , which Cameron recently delivered.
Committed to the Avatar franchise is James Cameron, as he recently delivered the script for Avatar 4 , for which Disney executives were stunned by the outcome. It also became known that in Avatar 5 there will be a complete change of setting since the story will be transferred from Pandora to Earth .

The production cost of Avatar 2 is staggering as it reached $460 million dollars – before promotion and marketing costs – making it the most expensive film of all time .
