The iPhone 15 Pro Max will probably be the most expensive iPhone in history
New valid analyst information confirms the price increase
According to the latest information, those interested in an iPhone 15 Pro Max and the rest of the iPhone 15 series are expected to dig deeper into their pockets. And this is because a new report by the Economic Daily News states that Apple will indeed proceed with price increases on new iPhones starting with upcoming models.
In particular, the report of this medium states that the top model, i.e. the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 1TB of storage space, will end up costing around $1,800 dollars , while the corresponding last year’s iPhone 14 Pro Max 1TB costs today at a retail price of US about $1,599 dollars . With some rough calculations, you can imagine how much higher the European prices of the next iPhones will reach, and even more so in Greece, where the iPhone 14 Pro Max 1TB model reached the dizzying price of €2,279 .
This is an increase of approximately 20% , which will also apply to the rest of the iPhone 15 models, not excluding the iPhone 15 Pro , as well as the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus , of course .
One of the reasons cited for the iPhone 15 lineup’s price increase is their switch from Lightning to a USB-C port , which Apple is forced to do to comply with European Union law, as well as the increase in the production price of the new A17 Bionic chip that the Pro models will wear.
The information about the price increase has been reported by other reputable analysts such as Dan Ives of the Wedbush Industries company, which also predicted the price increase of the iPhone 14 series in mid-2022.
