Ballerina: Norman Reedus to star in John Wick spin-off

The cast of Ballerina is growing even more, after news came into the spotlight that Norman Reedus of The Walking Dead will star in the spin-off of John Wick , Ballerina .

As Deadline reports , the famous actor is the new member to the already large and brilliant cast of the film and will play alongside Ana de Armas , who will be the main protagonist, as well as Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Anjelica Huston, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Keanu Reeves.

Reeves, however, will not have a large role in this film and will only make a small cameo. Up to this moment we do not know more about the role of Reedus such as for example which character he will play.

It is worth mentioning that the shooting of the film has started and the producer Erica Lee stated the following:

We are huge fans of Norman Reedus and we hope that fans will be as excited as we are to learn that he will be joining the John Wick universe.

Ballerina will focus on a young woman who is an Assassin and wants to take revenge on the people who killed her family. Produced by Lionsgate, Len Wiseman of Underworld directs and Shay Hatten of John Wick: Chapter 3 and Army of the Dead writes.
