No one can help Pinocchio
Neowiz and development team Round8 Studio have released new gameplay footage from Lies of P. Specifically, it’s a long 40-minute long video called the “Director’s Cut”.
As it became known, the player wakes up in an abandoned train station of Krat, a city engulfed in madness and bloodshed, and in front of him he sees a note that says: ” Find Mr. Geppetto. He is in this city .’
The player is none other than a different version of Pinocchio and his goal is to find Geppetto. However, this journey will be very difficult as the development team says that you should not trust anyone as no one can help you.
All of humanity has perished in a beautiful city that has now become a screaming living hell.
The concept of the game is also of particular interest, since the team tells a darker version of the classic Italian fairy tale Pinocchio. In fact, the developers are also preparing a unique ‘lie’ system, which will change the gameplay depending on what you say and do with your character.
The title is expected to be a next-gen experience and will be released only for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. In fact, it became known that it will arrive from day one on Xbox Game Pass. Its release window is 2023, but we don’t know exactly when it will be available.
