RTX 4060: We probably learned when it will come and at what price!  

Nvidia’s most affordable offering arrives

A new rumor has been making the rounds on the internet for the last few hours and it concerns the upcoming GeForce RTX 4060 , Nvidia ‘s most affordable 4000 series graphics card , which will be aimed at the general public and most gamers.

Going into details, Lenovo China Gaming Desktop’s Product Planning Manager made an interesting post on Chinese social media Weibo, stating what he thinks about the card. Since we are talking about a high-ranking executive of a well-known hardware company, he is certainly able to know more than a consumer, so what he said did not go unnoticed. Below you can find a summary.

RTX 4060 performance, price and consumption rumours:

• The performance of the RTX 4060 will be 20% better than the RTX 3060 and thus will be roughly equivalent to the RTX 3070 .
• The power consumption of the RTX 4060 will be lower than that of the RTX 3060 and is estimated to be around 150 to 180 W.
• The price of the RTX 4060 will be about 10% higher than the RTX 3060 , i.e. at the price of the RTX 3060 Ti.
• The RTX 4060 is expected before June 18, 2023 .
• The RTX 4060 will support DLSS 3 and have the upgraded NVENC encoders from its bigger brothers in the 4000 series.
  

At this point it should be mentioned that the RTX 3060 Ti currently starts at €460 in the Greek market, even though the US MSRP was $399. So, the most likely thing is that the RTX 4060, as long as the above information is correct , will cost around €500 in Greece.

Of course, for the time being Nvidia has only revealed the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080, but soon we are expected to know officially what exactly it is preparing for its most affordable models. For anything new stay tuned to Techblinders.com
