New information on the big Resident Evil Village DLC

Capcom shared some very interesting information at Tokyo Game Show 2022 about the upcoming Resident Evil Village DLC . Shadows of Rose , which will be part of the game ‘s Winter’s Expansion , will bring four hours of new content and is set to complete the family’s story, the company says.
Speaking to IGN Japan, Director Kento Kinoshita said that Shows of Rose will bring an end to the Winters family. This will automatically mean that wherever the series goes (with Resident Evil 9 for example) you will see new faces or characters you already know from the old ones.
In fact, IGN asked producer Masachika Kawata about what players can expect from the franchise in the future. He laughed and said he can’t share anything about their future plans. They both talked about the new Third-Person Mode coming to the Village with the Gold Edition and said that it took a lot of effort to make it.
The 3rd person mode took as much effort as creating a new game. Even the game itself is a very different experience when played in third person.
Regarding Rosemary’s campaign we know the following:
In this story DLC, players will take control of Rose, daughter of the main protagonist, Ethan, as she visits familiar places to learn where her powers come from. 16 years have passed since Ethan’s adventure and the new story will continue the events of the Village.
According to Capcom the DLC will have a special “psychological tone” with Rose meeting another girl who looks like her. It’s not just monsters that threaten you in Shadows of Rose, as the world itself is trying to finish you off.
The Gold Edition of Resident Evil Village (priced at €49.99) will be released on October 28th. In addition to the base game, it will also include the expansion pack. Anyone who pre-orders the new version will also receive an extra skin for Rosemary.
