Fear Effect Reinvented: Watch the brand new teaser trailer  

One more look at the title

It’s been years since Square Enix revealed that it would be the publisher of Fear Effect Reinvented and now, we have a brand new teaser trailer. The game is being developed by Forever Entertainment and the new video gives us a better look at the remake of the classic title.

Here is the official announcement:

A group of mercenaries on a deadly mission! That can only mean one thing! Fear Effect Reinvented is an action-adventure that stays true to the original game and comes refreshed with improved graphics and better handling.

Wi-Ming Lam, the daughter of a Hong Kong Triad boss, has been kidnapped. Take the roles of Hana, Glas and Deke and try to find the missing girl.

Expect an original story split into three different campaigns, with horror and survival elements, as well as a new cover-based combat system.

For the record, Square Enix had announced Fear Effect Reinvented since 2017 and had even given 2018 as a release window. Fear Effect was first released on the PlayStation 1 in 2000 and was a huge commercial success and stood out for the cel -shaded graphics, but also its story and gameplay.
