Netflix: Arrested Development is being removed from its catalog

One of Netflix ‘s first Original series is about to be removed from the service’s catalog and very soon.
The reason for Arrested Development, one of the most famous comedy series of Netflix, which is going to say goodbye on March 14, 2023 , as the relevant indication has appeared on its page within the catalog. This particular development concerns the USA and other countries where it is hosted in their catalog, as it is not in the Greek catalog of Netflix.
The removal of all five seasons of Arrested Development was confirmed by a Netflix representative to THR. This is the successful sitcom that originally aired for three seasons on the Fox channel , even winning an Emmy Award for “Best Comedy Series” in 2004, while in 2006 Fox decided to discontinue it.
In 2013, however, Netflix took over the task of reviving it for two more seasons produced by 20th Century Fox TV and Imagine Entertainment. New episodes were released in May of that year. Several years later it returned again for its 5th and final season , which was split into two parts, where the first was released in May 2018 and the second in March 2019.


The cast of Arrested Development starred a bunch of big names such as : Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Tony Hale, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter, David Cross, Porta De Rossi and Alia Shawkat .
The creator of the show is Michael Hurwitz, based on the idea of the well-known director Ron Howard, who served as producer, narrator and guest star in the last seasons.
