Amazon held its annual hardware event and presented many products in a short time. First we have a Kindle with a stylus for the first time. The reason for the Kindle Scribe , which comes with a 10.2-inch screen, an illuminated screen with 300ppi, a magnetic pen and a price of $339.

The Echo series also comes renewed. The redesigned Echo Studio offers better stereo sound, with clearer mids and deeper bass for $200. The also redesigned Echo Dot features a larger speaker, offering twice the bass of its predecessor and clearer vocals. There is also the Echo Dot with Clock variant , displaying information such as the name of the artist and the song on the screen, while both models have improved touch functionality. They are priced at $50 and $60 respectively. Later there will be children’s editions for $60.

In home security, Amazon announced two new cameras from Ring, the Spotlight Cam Pro and Spotlight Cam Plus . Both feature Bird’s Eye View motion detection technology and are available with battery, plug and solar charging. Prices start at $200.

Another Amazon subsidiary, Blink, introduced the $100 Wired Floodlight Camera with 2,600 lumen LED lighting, 1080p live video, two-way audio, and a motion detector.

For the wellness sector, Amazon presented the Halo Rise , a ” contactless ” sleep tracker that detects the movement and breathing of the person sleeping next to it. It also works as a smart speaker for Alexa. It costs $140.

In the field of televisions, it presented the renewed Fire TV Cube with a new 2GHz octa-core processor and HDMI connection for the television. With Alexa Voice Remote Pro you can change channels with voice commands.

The company is also expanding the range of Fire TV Omni televisions with two premium QLED models at 65 and 75 inches that will cost $800 and $1,100 respectively. They support Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10 Plus Adaptive.

Finally, in the car sector we have a new Echo Auto , thinner and with better grip than its predecessor. It was also announced that BMW is working with Amazon to bring Alexa to its cars, for a more natural dialogue with the digital assistant.
