Netflix has released the official trailer for FIFA Uncovered: Football and Corruption , which wants to take you on a “ride” through the dark paths of the World Cup.

This is an explosive documentary series that will focus on the organization’s legacy and power struggles, as well as the politics behind hosting this winter’s World Cup in Qatar.

The summary of FIFA Uncovered: Football and Corruption is as follows:

Power games. World politics. An investigation into FIFA reveals the organization’s tumultuous history and what hosting the World Cup entails.

Online fraud, money laundering, extortion and tax evasion are other topics covered in the video below. Also, being a member of FIFA is described as “like being in a secret garden” where there is an “unspoken code” where you can do whatever you want.

This documentary series traces the organisation’s legacy, exploring the grandeur, power struggles and politics of hosting the World Cup.
