Mark Zuckerberg explains the advanced VR technologies prepared by Meta (VIDEO)

Presenting various prototypes

Continuing its efforts to establish metaverse , Meta is working behind the scenes on various advanced technologies that it aspires to make VR headsets almost unrecognizable from real life.

Specifically, through a special video that saw the light of day, the head of the company, Mark Zuckerberg presented four different original headsets, on which the company is working. Going into detail, Meta’s Reality Labs Research division is trying to significantly increase the screen resolution of VR headsets, aiming for 60 pixels per degree. With such an analysis, it would be easy to read even the smallest letters in a vision test.

At the same time, Meta is developing a VR headset that allows the wearer to focus his gaze and see clearly any object , no matter how close or far it looks, while he has created the world’s first HDR VR system .

Ultimately, Meta wants all of these features to coexist in a future product that will be thinner and lighter than all the headsets we know today and promises more developments in the coming years.
