Warner Bros. Discovery probably found its own “Kevin Feige” to command DC

Ready for Dan Lin to take over

Apparently, Warner Bros. Discovery probably found its own “Kevin Feige”, since as THR reports , Dan Lin is ready to take on all DC projects.

In particular, THR reports that Dan Lin is in talks – and the deal will probably close – to be the head of DC for the newly reorganized company and will control both the DC film universe and all TV projects. If the deal closes, Lin will “report” everything to WB Discovery CEO David Zaslav , bypassing several other heads of the company’s departments.

According to information from THR, Walter Hamada , who heads DC Films now, will step down from the position, who was reportedly on the verge of leaving the company due to the cancellation of Batgirl, but ultimately decided to stay until to play Black Adam in theaters.

However, Variety says there are some hurdles to closing Lin’s deal, as he is involved in several projects for Disney, including the live-action Lilo & Stitch film. But if he works with Warner Bros. he will have to “get his head around” a lot of things, like dealing with all these issues that are happening with The Flash movie and more.

Lin is no stranger to Warner, having been an executive producer on films such as The Lego Movie, It and Godzilla: King of Monsters. In fact, he has been described as one of the most powerful producers in Hollywood at the moment.
