The mysterious X-37B craft has returned to Earth
Record stay in space
The Boeing-made, US military X-37B space drone has returned to Earth and landed at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, after nearly two and a half years in orbit. The unmanned craft reached space for the first time in 2010 and during six missions, covered 2 billion kilometers.
The mission strengthens Space Force’s will to collaborate on space exploration and expand low-cost access to space for our partners, inside and outside the Air Force Department. – General Chance Saltzman, chief of space operations

The X-37B performs top secret missions for the US Space Force. It has a length of 9 meters and a wingspan of 5 meters and is powered by its solar panels. A few of his well-known missions involve testing certain materials in space, evaluating how cosmic radiation affects certain seeds, and studying the conversion of solar radiation into radio-electricity.
