“Return to Silent Hill” is the new movie in the horror franchise – First teaser  

Rumors are also over for the film part of Silent Hill

Konami’s special Silent Hill: Transmission presentation put an end to the rumors about a new Silent Hill movie. 

Among the four new Silent Hill games in development, we learned that ” Return to Silent Hill “, the new film in the famous horror franchise, is in the works, about which we had first information unofficially from its director, Christophe Gans, last summer . 

The project is headed by Christophe Gans, director of the first Silent Hill film released in 2006, who also appeared at the special presentation to talk at length about his vision. Also returning is the producer of the first Silent Hill, Victor Hadida. 

He stated that he had an idea for a new version of Silent Hill that Konami agreed with 100% and said that it would respect the style of the first Silent Hill games and movies. 

He also revealed that Pyramid Head will return in Return to Silent Hill and that the film’s style is heavily influenced by ‘ The Twilight Zone ‘. It will even be based on the story of Silent Hill starring Mary and James.

At the moment Return to Silent Hill does not have a premiere date, although in an earlier interview Gans had said that they are aiming for 2023.
