iPhone 15: End of the year ‘Pro Max’ – Big changes are coming    

Rumors are heating up for good

The iPhone 14 has been on store shelves for a few days now, attracting the attention of many consumers, but at the same time, the rumors about the upcoming Apple series do not stop. 

Going into the details, trusted Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, who has leaked countless correct information about the current models over the past months, is back now to bring some new information about Apple’s future plans to the spotlight. In more detail, Gurman points out that the iPhone 15 will come with “bigger changes”. 

Apple is expected to do away with the Pro Max name , which came to the fore in 2019 with the iPhone 11. Its place will be taken by the Ultra branding for the flagship model of the iPhone 15 series, with the company adopting practically the same name as we also saw in the brand new Apple Watch Ultra. Of course, the new smartwatch is not the only ‘Ultra’ product of the American giant, since the M1 Ultra processor has also been named accordingly. 

Continuing, the reporter reports that the iPhone 15 will leave the Lighting port in the past, giving way to USB-C. Apple has already started testing for this transition, which it is forced to do because of the new legislation of the European Union. Specifically, all new smartphones from 2024 onwards will be required to have a USB-C port to be able to be sold in European countries. 

For the record, these are not the only rumors that have been heard about the iPhone 15, since information about the main processor  of the next-generation models of 2023 has already come to light.  At the same time, it has been heard that all the iPhone 15 will leave the past the well-known “notch” and will adopt the notch inside the screen, while there have been other rumors about their screens.
