iPhone 15: Get ready for a price hike on Pro models
Rumors are rife
As we have informed you , the sales of the iPhone 14 Plus have “seriously troubled” Apple, which is thinking of making major changes with the next-generation iPhone 15. In particular, there was a rumor that the American giant was considering two strategies, either to makes the differences between the regular and Pro models clearer in a number of ways, either to drop the prices of the regular models.
Ultimately, Apple seems intent on making the Pro models stand out from the regular models by raising the prices . According to a new report by MacRumors , Apple is once again rumored to be making the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max more expensive , but it is not clear exactly how much.
The latest rumors want the simple iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus to acquire various features of the current ‘Pros’, such as the Dynamic Island and the 48 megapixel camera. So Apple wants to make the iPhone 15 Pro stand out more, starting with the price. At this point it is worth mentioning that in the past we have heard again from another source that the next iPhones might be more expensive. Although we still can’t completely trust the rumors, certainly the fact that the reports are increasing gives them more weight.
For the record, the previous rumor talked about a price increase of the next flagship, the so-called iPhone 15 Ultra, by up to $200! If that’s true, it’s the biggest generational jump since iPhone prices typically saw $100 increases in the US market. This means that the price of the iPhone 15 Ultra may start at $1299 in the US. If we consider, however, that in Europe there is also VAT, the price of the next high-end iPhone in Greece may start from €1700 for the model with the smallest capacity.
