House of the Dragon: Season 2 will have something of old GoT to make you happy!

Ryan Condal gives powerful teaser for the 2nd cycle of the Game of Thrones prequel show

In a very strong teaser, the showrunner and head of the 2nd season of House of the Dragon proceeded, which will bring smiles to Game of Thrones fans in general.

Ryan Condal spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the season that just ended and what to expect when it returns. The highlight that is worth mentioning is that in pace and scale it will be very reminiscent of… the good old Game of Thrones from seasons 3 to 6 , but also in the number of characters that will appear.

“I don’t know if A Dance with Dragons will ever have the scope that the original Game of Thrones had, just because of North of the Wall and Esso and all these other places it went. But certainly the season we’re writing, the pacing this series will be much more like a midseason like Game of Thrones seasons 3-6 in terms of its length and scope and the number of characters.” Condal said.

In fact, he did because he won’t just focus on four main characters like he did with Rhaenyra, Alicent, Viserys and Daemon, as season 2 ” will be oriented closer to an ensemble show where it will follow multiple characters. ”

As for the wider history of the Dance of Dragons he said the following:

The allegiances of certain characters and factions will shift and change over the course of this series.”

“That’s the nature of these things. It’s incredibly messy and complex and gray, and it’s a family fighting each other. It’s not Starks versus Lannisters. It’s an extended family fighting each other. So it’s more hard to find those solid sides.”
