Hugh Jackman probably made a mistake in a recent interview about Deadpool 3 as he apparently revealed the real title of the sequel.
Marvel Studios does its best to keep information about its projects secret, but sometimes the excitement of the actors is so great that they get…”Tom Holland”.
In a video uploaded by Jackman on Twitter, he talks about the coming year and the film “Spirited” played by Ryan Reynolds , his co-star in Deadpool 3. But at one point he refers to the long-awaited Marvel film saying that ” I will have to pass a whole year with him shooting Wolverine and Deadpool .” From there, fans below in the comments caught on to Jackman’s gaffe as he didn’t refer to it as “Deadpool 3” for the first time.

So they took it as an indirect confirmation of her title as ” Wolverine and Deadpool ” with the comments below giving and taking. The dance did not miss Reynolds who responded to Jackman with a paid line of the character of Wolverine. To possibly cover it up the banter between them continued and Jackman wrote ” Isn’t it catchy? “
Whether it was indeed a blunder or a stage set up to test the waters and the reactions of the fans remains to be seen. After all, Deadpool 3 from the first moment has the most unconventional and trollish approach to its promotion and marketing. Just remember how…we found out that Wolverine is coming back.
In a recent interview, Jackman spoke about the relationship between Wolverine and Deadpool: ” On a scale of 0 to 10, how close they are as characters is closer to zero. We’re polar opposites. We hate each other. . I’m telling it from my perspective. Wolverine is constantly annoyed by Deadpool, he gets on his nerves. He wants to punch him in the head…so, I’m going to punch him a lot.”
Deadpool 3 alongside Ryan Reynolds will see Hugh Jackman make his grand return to the role of Wolverine for the last time in the MCU . In a recent appearance, Charlie Cox stated that “there is room” for Daredevil to appear in the film.
Let’s remember that Deadpool 3 was directed by Shawn Levy of Free Guy , The Adam Project and Stranger Things , while Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick from Deadpool and Deadpool 2 return to the script .
Deadpool 3 is expected to hit theaters on November 8, 2024 .
