Raquel Welch breathed her last at the age of 82 , due to an illness that was bothering her, without further revealing the causes of her death.
She was the American actress who left an era in the ’70s and ’80s being a ‘sex symbol’ of the time, as she was named one of the “100 sexiest stars in movie history ” in an issue of Empire magazine in 1995.
He was born on September 5, 1940 in Chicago to a Bolivian father and an American mother. The bad relations of the couple put the young Raquel in a difficult position and her only way out of reality was her involvement in dance and theater. She started her career at the age of 19 and ended up starring in about 65 films.
In 1966, she was chosen by 20th Century Fox for the lead role in Richard Fleischer’s science fiction film “The Fantastic Journey “, which took off her career. In the same year, her appearance in ” Cataklysmos ” ( One Million Years BC ) stole hearts.

In 1973 she was awarded a Golden Globe for her role as Constance in Richard Lester’s The Three Musketeers alongside three stars of the time, Oliver Reed, Michael York and Richard Chamberlain.
More recently in her 70s Welles played the diva and image she had created in Hollywood in various series such as American Family (2002), Welcome to the Captain (2008) and Date my Dad (2017). He also made a few appearances in the films Tortilla Soup (2001), The Blonde’s Revenge (2001), Forget About it (2006) and How to Be a Latin Lover (2017).
