Going into details, Embracer has announced that it will include Limited Run Games , a company responsible for retail releases of indie titles that would otherwise never reach store shelves. At the same time, it will acquire the karaoke technology company Singtrix, as well as the peripheral manufacturer Gioteck.
In terms of new development teams to acquire, Embracer announced the acquisition of Tuxedo Labs (an indie team developing Teardown), Tripwire Interactive , known for games like Chivalry, ManEater and Killing Floor, as well as Tatsujin and Bitwave Games .
Along with this new wave of acquisitions, Embracer announced that it will open its 11th in- house division, Embracer Freemode. This group will focus on retro and classic games, as well as historical franchises from the gaming and entertainment space.
