Embracer ‘s unstoppable acquisition streak continues, with the Swedish giant announcing the acquisition of all rights to Lord of the Rings films, series, games, merchandise, and more. , as well as the acquisition of several more game development teams and other gaming companies.

Going into details, Embracer has announced that it will include Limited Run Games , a company responsible for retail releases of indie titles that would otherwise never reach store shelves. At the same time, it will acquire the karaoke technology company Singtrix, as well as the peripheral manufacturer Gioteck.

In terms of new development teams to acquire, Embracer announced the acquisition of Tuxedo Labs (an indie team developing Teardown), Tripwire Interactive , known for games like Chivalry, ManEater and Killing Floor, as well as Tatsujin and Bitwave Games .
