Bella Ramsey , the young actress who will play Ellie in the upcoming TV series The Last of Us , revealed that she has not played the PlayStation game and even the production staff suggested that she not to!
Going into detail, Ramsey gave a new interview to USA Today , in which she revealed several interesting behind-the-scenes details, highlighting:
After my first audition, they asked me: “have you played it?”. I answered “no” and was told to “keep it that way”.
Of course, the actress, who is known among other things for her participation in Game of Thrones, emphasized that she has seen some footage of the game on the internet.
I watched some gameplay footage on YouTube to get an idea. Overall I’m super excited about the release – it’s been such a big part of my life. I shot for a whole year, quite a long time when he’s only lived 19 years.
Finally, Ramsey revealed that her co-star Pedro Pascal, who will play Joel, prepared her a special card to mark the end of filming.
Pedro wrote me a little card at the end, saying, “How interesting that something so huge and life-changing happened so early in your life and so late in mine.” I thought that was a very sweet remark and overall I had a great time on set.
