Warner Bros. has a huge plan for DC movies that will span 10 years
Similar to Marvel’s as David Zaslav says

In the last few days there has been a little chaos in the offices of Warner Bros. with Batgirl being canceled and Stargirl being prepared for its cancellation ( as it sounds ), while we learned that a new streaming service will also be coming , with HBO Max and Discovery Plus .
Now, the new boss of Warner Bros. Discovery , David Zaslav revealed that the decision to cancel Batgirl was part of the studio distancing itself from the “ Snyderverse ,” as the company wants to do something else. That… “other” is to build its own huge DC Universe for the next 10 years, just like Marvel did with the MCU .
Read his statements below:
We have done a complete reset. We have structured our business. There will be one group that will focus only on DC for the next 10 years. It’s very similar to the structure that Alan Horne and Bob Iger did very effectively with Kevin Feige at Disney.
We believe we could build a long-term, much more sustainable business than DC, and as part of that, we will focus on quality. We are not going to release any film before it is ready. The focus will be on making each of these films as good as possible.
We can make DC better and we are focused on that plan now. We have some great DC movies coming up. Black Adam, Shazam 2 and The Flash. We are working on all of these. We’ve seen them and we think they’re amazing and we can make them even better. That’s what Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy (the new heads of Warner Bros. Pictures) are doing right now.

All of the above, Zaslav said during a call with the company’s investors and praised, among other things, all the content of Warner Bros. even saying that the Warner Bros. team motion picture has fantastic IPs.
Together with DC, the animation team, along with the entire Warner Bros. library, we aspire to bring Warner back.
What do you think of all David Zaslav’s new designs? Tell us in the comments.
