Netflix cheap package: It might not show ads during a new movie

So as not to diminish the work of the filmmakers

We recently informed you that a very important feature will be missing from the new cheap ad package coming to Netflix . Now, a new report from Bloomberg has revealed that the ‘ad-tier’ may not display ads in all the content of the upcoming cheaper package.

Bloomberg says Netflix will likely cut ads initially from newer original movies, as well as some children’s shows. Specifically it says that it may not run ads on Original films at launch and will instead introduce them later.

However, it’s still too early to say how long a new movie will run ad-free, but as noted by Bloomberg, this decision may help filmmakers’ concerns about ads detracting from their work.

This is what Bloomberg says will probably apply to the children’s program as well, while as we know Disney Plus plans to do the same with the upcoming ad package that it will introduce in the future.

Finally, according to Bloomberg, some studios may not allow Netflix to run ads during certain shows or movies licensed to the company, but could instead put ads before or after the program.
