PlayStation Stars: First look at how the rewards program works

During its recent State of Play show, which among other things hosted a very impressive trailer for God of War: Ragnarok , PlayStation also revealed more information about how PlayStation Stars will work .

In case you don’t know, this is a rewards program for fans of the platform, which was first announced in mid-July . PlayStation Stars, then, will debut in various countries in Asia at the end of September, arriving in America and Europe a few weeks later. The program will include various digital goodies that players can unlock, such as 3D models from Ape Escape, a PlayStation 3, the PocketStation peripheral, and more.

It is worth noting that these items will not be NFTs, but instead rewards that can be unlocked by players by completing various activities, which will earn them points, which in turn will be used to unlock the items they desire. Finally, registration and participation in PlayStation Stars will be completely free .
