Official 15-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip to do all the work you need

The biggest MacBook Air released by Apple is coming

As part of Apple ‘s hardware announcements in the middle of WWDC 2023, the newest and – largest of all – MacBook Air with a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display was announced.

It’s the biggest MacBook Air of all, as Apple’s model range has ranged from 13 inches – until now – and it features ultra-slim display bezels just 5mm thick. Apple advertises it as the “world’s thinnest 15-inch laptop ” weighing in at around 1.3kg. Its chassis includes the same M2 chip as its smaller 13-inch siblings and offers up to 18 hours of operation . Apple claims it’s 40% thinner and about 250 grams lighter than an average 15-inch laptop.

In terms of ports, it comes with a MagSafe for charging, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, the classic port for headphones, while it has a 1080p webcam and a six-speaker system. Its availability starts next week in four colors: midnight, starlight, silver and space gray.

The new 15-inch MacBook Air is available for pre-order starting at $ 1,299 . At the same time, Apple dropped the price of the basic 13-inch M2 MacBook Air by $100, and it will now sell from $1199, while the MacBook Air with M1 will sell from $999.
