Which country has the most expensive iPhone 14?
The cheapest model starts at €1,700
Brazil has been the country with the most expensive iPhones for a number of years, starting with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. But this year, another country takes the lead, and by a margin. According to research firm Nukeni , Turkey has the most expensive iPhone 14 among 37 countries. The prices are taken from the official Apple sites in each country.
In more detail, the “basic” 128GB iPhone 14 costs €1,700 in Turkey , while the 256GB and 512GB ones cost €1,842 and €2,133 respectively. But let’s look at the other models:
iPhone 14 Plus
- 128GB – €1,919
- 256GB – €2,062
- 512GB – €2,352
iPhone 14 Pro
- 128GB – €2,193
- 256GB – €2,336
- 512GB – €2,627
- 1TB – €2,917
iPhone 14 Pro Max
- 128GB – €2,413
- 256GB – €2,555
- 512GB – €2846
- 1TB – €3,137

The reason behind these outrageous prices is the neighbor’s economic crisis, with inflation exceeding 80% for the first time in 20 years. Apple had stopped selling its products in Turkey in 2021 when the lira had lost 15% of its value against the dollar in a matter of hours. When Apple’s sales started again, the company raised the prices of its products by 25%.
The cheapest iPhone 14 is sold in the US and Japan, while among the most expensive are India, Hungary and Poland. More generally, despite the fact that iPhone 14 prices have remained stable in the US and China, Apple has quietly increased them in almost the entire European Union, including Greece.
