Motorola Edge (2022) comes with Dimensity 1050, 144Hz and more
The company’s new proposal is revealed

The 3rd generation of Motorola Edge is here! The company announced the new 2022 model of the series, which is the first phone to use the Dimensity 1050. It is a 6nm chip with mmWave 5G, and it also has two Cortex-A78 CPU cores (2.5 GHz) and six A55 cores (2.0 GHz), as well as the Mali-G610 MC3 GPU.
This device comes with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, with Android 12 and a 5000mAh battery that charges with “TurboPower” 30W, just like its predecessor. Here, however, there will be the possibility for wireless charging at 15W, as well as reverse charging at 5W.

Its screen is 6.6 inches with an OLED panel and a resolution of 1080×2400. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother movement, while there are 10-bit colors and support for HDR10+ here too.
The central camera on the back is 50MP (1.0μm pixels) with an f/1.8 lens and the first optical image stabilization (OIS) in the Edge family. There’s also an ultra-wide 120° camera with a 13MP sensor (1.12μm) and an impressively bright f/1.5 aperture. This camera can also take macro photos, and there is a sensor for better depth in your shots. In the selfie we now have a 32MP camera that can shoot 1080p video at 30FPS.

The Motorola Edge (2022) is only available on the company’s American site at the moment, but it will surely appear on Motorola’s official European site at some point.
