ISS: Second coolant leak from Russian craft
The crew is not in danger
Roscosmos revealed via Telegram that the Progress cargo ship attached to the International Space Station (ISS) has lost pressure due to a coolant leak.
This is the second incident of a coolant leak on a Russian vessel in two months, after the incident with the manned Soyuz capsule . Fortunately, this time, it’s a cargo ship that burns up on re-entry into the atmosphere after refueling the ISS, so there’s no danger to the station’s astronauts. This means at the same time that Roscosmos will not be able to investigate the cause of the leak on the ground.
In any case, the astronauts on the space station are not in any danger at this time.
The reason for the loss of coolant in Progress 82 is being investigated. The ports between Progress 82 and the station are open and temperatures and pressures on the station are normal. The crew has been informed of the leak and is not in danger, while continuing with scheduled station operations. – NASA

Progress 82 arrived at the ISS on October 28, 2022 and was scheduled to depart on February 17. It is not yet clear whether Roscosmos will stick to the schedule now that the leak has been detected. The leak was detected on the same day that a second Progress craft docked with the station.
