Bandai Namco hacked by ‘BlackCat’

In the spotlight came a news stating that the company, Bandai Namco , which has one of the longest and most beloved gaming franchises, has fallen victim to a hack . Specifically, as reported by The Gamer , the company has been hacked by the well-known ransomware group called ” Alphv “, also known as BlackCat .

It should be noted at this point that these hackers have attacked other companies in the past. This news comes from the security team, Vx-Underground , which has the largest collection of malware source code, samples and documentation on the internet. According to Vx-Underground, Alphv claims to have hacked Bandai Namco, but it is not known if the damage is big or small.

Let us remind you at this point, that Bandai Namco has huge franchises behind it, such as Ace Combat, Dark Souls, Dragon Ball, Soul Calibur and many others.
