The display technologies at CES 2023 that stole the show
Who would have expected a screen sitting on top of a laptop to impress? And yet, in the context of CES 2023 , ASUS presented the Pro Art Studiobook 16 3D OLED , which wants to make 3D fashionable again, without the use of special glasses and with the quality of an OLED panel.
The holographic 3D display panel, which ASUS calls Spatial Vision , aims to improve the creation experience for artists and professional content creators alike – especially when it comes to designing 3D models.
ASUS’s truly impressive display technology, for which it is the only patent holder, consists of multiple layers in the OLED panel: an optical resin, a glass panel, the special lens technology, a 2D/3D liquid crystal switching layer and a glass coating with an anti-reflective coating. The icing on the cake is the special cameras that monitor the user’s eyes in real time to adjust the 3D effect accordingly and not spoil it.
Its specs are also impressive with a 3.2K resolution, 2ms response and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz , while it supports touch and stylus use.
