The Flash: “It’s worth the wait because the movie is fantastic”

The editor of the film speaks in the best words

Warner Bros. ‘ The Flash Discovery and DC has been in the works for many years and is slated to premiere in June 2023. Now, some very interesting information has come to light that will surely delight fans waiting to see the film.

Specifically, the film’s editor, Paul Machliss , says the film is worth the wait, since it will reward you. Also, as he typically says, the technology used in the film is one of the reasons it was delayed recently. Speaking to IBC he said:

This movie is going to be exciting. I mean, Warner told us to make the best movie we can. It’s the first film to bring a very new technology in terms of getting multiple versions of the same character on screen, rather than using fixed cameras or motion controls like we did in Last Night in Soho.
There is a new and wonderful technology that we will be able to talk about once the movie comes out. But that’s very exciting and I’m happy to say that we’re the first, certainly on a film of this scale, to use it.
Maybe that’s why the movie was delayed so much… But trust me it’s worth the wait because it looks fantastic!

The Flash 2: Sequel development has begun with Ezra Miller

Machliss is referring to this technology because Ezra Miller is set to play two “different” Barry Allens in the film.

Miller’s popular hero is coming to the big screen and will be joined by Michael Keaton as Batman/Bruce Wayne. The film wants to start – and develop – the DC Universe and this was also seen from the small teaser we saw last year at the DC FanDome.

Directed by Andy Muschietti , The Flash also stars: Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen and Ron Livingston , who replaces Billy Crudup as Barry’s father in the DCEU.

The Flash is expected in theaters on June 23, 2023.
